Principles and Policies Podcast for 2/22/2014- Spring- When Politicians’ Fancy Turns To Re-Election

Our Principles and Policies radio show for Saturday February 22, 2014. Barry Sheets and Chuck Michaelis analyze the influence of money on politicians, especially one who suddenly “grow” in office. “Grow” is, of course, a euphemism for someone who drops all of their principles. In this show we say “we told you so” and refer back to a program we did in late September of 2012.

So how do “conservatives” like Paul Ryan, Rob Portman, etc., etc. get away with 1800 changes in their “principled” positions? We show why it’s all about marketing, money and re-election. We put these puzzle pieces together and it builds a frightening picture.
