Our Principles and Policies radio show for Saturday December 8, 2012. Barry Sheets and Chuck Michaelis take a deeper look at governmental shenanigans involving Ohio state government created monopolies in the coin and metal business. We discover some very odd things and wonder what will happen now that the State of Ohio has been discovered with its hand in the cookie jar.
We also take a look at US House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner and his demotion of prominent conservative Congressman from key committees and his open threats to “practice discipline” against anyone who tries to hold the line on taxes and spending. Still think Boehner’s a conservative?
Our Principles and Policies radio show for Thursday December 6, 2012. Barry Sheets and Chuck Michaelis discuss the attempt in the US Senate to force-ratify (in a lame duck session) a hot mess of a treaty (The UN Convention On The Rights Of The Disabled) that was, like all UN treaties, a surrender of US sovereignty. The proponents even wheeled in, fresh from his hospital bed, liberal Republican icon Bob Dole. We posit that this was not the best PR after the recent defeat of liberal Republican icon “wanna be” Mitt Romney.

Our Principles and Policies radio show for Tuesday December 4, 2012. Chuck Michaelis discusses recent findings made by the Curiosity Mars rover and wonders why NASA is being so disingenuous in the reporting of these findings.
Our Principles and Policies radio show for Monday December 3, 2012. Barry Sheets and Chuck Michaelis critically discuss recent NASA spin regarding their “Curiosity” Mars rover and what it is finding. Billions spent not to advance science but to disprove the Bible is a very poor investment.
Our Principles and Policies radio show for Saturday December 1, 2012. Barry Sheets and Chuck Michaelis critically analyze an article which attempts to make a case for an Article V constitutional convention to “balance the budget.†We make the case that the Constitution is not the problem- our representatives are. This is a repeat of a show run on Saturday March 17, 2012. The danger is back!
Our Principles and Policies radio show for Thursday November 29, 2012. Barry Sheets and Chuck Michaelis expose the “reasoning” of Republican and Democratic politicians who decry the First Amendment as an impediment to their ability to maintain their power bases. Republican Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted and Democrat Congressman Hank Johnson (yes, THAT Hank Johnson, the same one who actually suggested that too many people on Guam would cause the island to tip over) are convinced that freedom of speech, association, and the press are just too dangerous to them to be allowed to operate during campaigns.
Our Principles and Policies radio show for  Wednesday November 28, 2012. Barry Sheets and Chuck Michaelis discuss the unintended consequences of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) which is poised to cost many currently full-time employees their full-time status by forcing companies to cut their hours to 28 per week. OOPS!
Our Principles and Policies radio show for  Tuesday November 27, 2012. Barry Sheets and Chuck Michaelis take a closer look at a bill introduced in the Michigan legislature that would allow expectant parents, under certain circumstances, to take the Michigan child tax credit for unborn children. We also take a look at the implications for the pro-life movement.
Our Principles and Policies radio show for  Monday November 26, 2012. Barry Sheets and Chuck Michaelis read and discuss the next steps (out of sequence due to an engineering error) American founding documents that demonstrate the further development and refinement of the  foundations for our liberty in law- The Declaration of Independence. We also discuss the worldviews of key players in the Declaration- Jefferson, Franklin, Adams, Livingston, Sherman, with influence from Wythe and Mason.
