Republican Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted and Democrat Congressman Hank Johnson (yes, THAT Hank Johnson, the same one who actually suggested that too many people on Guam would cause the island to tip over) are convinced that freedom of speech, association, and the press are just too dangerous to them to be allowed to operate during campaigns.
