Every year at election time we run a series on understanding property tax levies. While this is a complex issue, we think that our friend Carolyn Blow has done an excellent job of breaking the issue down and explaining what the various things you might see on a property tax issue on your ballot.
The Institute For Principled Policy’ board strongly urges that you vote YES on Ohio Issue 2 (2011).
The Institute has reservations about certain portions of this issue but believe that Ohio’s courts will deal with those issues and that on balance the necessities weigh in favor of a YES vote on Issue 2.
